Today I also made a cushion cover. The front was easy, I used leftover fabrics from a quilt I made recently. The back took me a couple of goes, I still need to pit buttons on it. I made this card for a 6 year old boy, using the cricut cartridge "Wrap It Up" (card function)  I used plain grey cardstock for the base, and a piece of cardstock from a "Cre8tive" stack for the top layer. I think it was called a metallic stack, or a shimmer stack...it is like bazzil bling, but a lot cheaper!  The handbook for Wrap it Up isn't that great, so i had a bit of trouble putting it

Spongebob SquarePants!  Here is a cake I made for my son's 5th birthday. I saw a similar one online and thought it would be a fun and quick cake.  Problem was, I tried to use that gel type icing..I'm not sure why they didn't work for me, but rather than a nice gel line, i got blobs and runny watery sludge.  This cake certainly isn't my best work, but Jake loved it just the same.

Quite a while ago, I made each of the boys signs for their bedroom doors. Well Jake decided recently that Elmo was for babies and he wanted Superman instead! Rather than re-do the whole thing, I just pulled Elmo off and put Superman on. He was cut at 6.5 inches and pretty fiddly to put together. From memory, the font was Sesame Street Font. It's the best part of making a cake right? Lickin' the beaters? For this layout I used some patterned paper i've had for a really long time..not sure what brand it is, and it is nicer in real life, it looks very pale in the photo..it's more yellow than white. I love making treat bags! These were so quick and easy to make, I really like the way they turned out, I especially like the ones with all the same coloured eggs. I made this card for a footy mad five year old!! I used the cricut cartridge "Life Is A Party" which has heaps of great shaped cards. I had to use an American football as no cartridge has an Aussie one (yet..) I used Design Studio to remove the white stripes from the sides of the football, and Street Sign for the font.

Poor little Max spent his 3rd Birthday in hospital with croup. We really wanted to bring him home, and we did, but his breathing got worse so we ended up going back. These are the final layouts in my race day series! I used the Cricut 'Cars' cartridge a lot, plus chipboard pieces painted and coated in dimensional magic (I LOVE that stuff!) I even used the Cricut 'Baseball' cartridge, for the writing on the trophy. I really enjoyed doing these pages, they were really simple, but I really do love the way they've turned out.

I used SCAL (Sure Cuts A Lot) on this layout to cut out the Lego logo, and also the word "Max" I really love SCAL for cutting out logos, and having endless fonts is probably my favourite thing about it. The lego blocks were some old die cuts i had bought years ago!

I just finished this sign for my son's door. Nurse Mel (from the cricut MB) kindly helped me convert the Ferrari logo (and by help, I mean she did the whole conversion..he he he...THANKS MEL!!) I then cut the file using SCAL. The font is called Ferro Rosso, I found it on www.dafont.com I'm so pleased with how it turned out, and Ryan just LOVES it :)

Here is a cookie tray countdown calendar that I made using numbered pieces that I aquired from a swap I participated in on the Cricut messageboard (...um...last year..shhh!) I finally got around to decorating my cookie tray, just in time for Christmas this year - YAY!
