Here is my latest project, i'm having so much fun with these Kaiser projects!I still need to do a layout for the middle and add a few finishing touches
On the weekend, I went to the new Kaiser factory outlet. So many things that i just wanted to make!! I was very restrained, but i just had to buy this kit and make it straight away. The kit, papers, ribbon and paint are all Kaiser - I just love thier stuff!!
I wanted to make a spongebob book for my three year old son. I had an old 8.5 x 11 album, so i decided to cut out the characters and slip them into the album (rather than making a book that i had to laminate and bind) I thought the album would be sturdier and last a bit longer Most of the characters/items were cut at 7 or 8" It took a lot of layering and piecing together, but it was a lot of fun to make My DS loves it, he's been carrying it around with him everywhere. To take these photos, i had to sneak it out from under his pillow :)
Updating their blogs that is!! So I thought it was about time I add a few things too. Here are three cards i've made recently, unfortunately, the photos are pretty bad, I took them with the camera on my phone instead of my real camera. Oh well, at least there is proof I DO use my new cartridges!!
This card was made using Lyrical Letters:
This one is the "Doily Card" from the Wild card cartridges, one of my favourite cards at the moment
Last one is a card using a cartridge I never thought i'd buy (but i'm so glad I did!) - Hello Kitty. There are some REALLY cute cuts on this cartridge!
Of course, having three sons, I couldn't do something for one and not the other two! Here are the two other signs I made this weekend. The first one is Ben10's omnitrix. I got the cutfile from the cricut MB, click HERE to see the original post. I couldn't link directly to the blog, it didn't work for me, i'm not sure why. Thanks to Alekza_86 for the file.
Next is Elmo of course! I used both Sesame Street cricut cartridges for this one.
I just finished this sign for my son's door. Nurse Mel (from the cricut MB) kindly helped me convert the Ferrari logo (and by help, I mean she did the whole conversion..he he he...THANKS MEL!!) I then cut the file using SCAL. The font is called Ferro Rosso, I found it on www.dafont.com I'm so pleased with how it turned out, and Ryan just LOVES it :)
